About the Gemini Awards
The Gemini Awards can be thought of as the Canadian equivalent of the U.S. Emmy Awards.

Geminis are given out annually for excellence in English-language television. There are 87 award categories.

The Gemini Awards have been televised since 1986.

This year marks the 19th anniversary of the awards. The three-day ceremony was held from December 11-13, 2004 in Toronto.
